A typical application can take up to 40 minutes to complete on the portal – after this our assessors will provide you with an answer/feedback within 48 hours.
The application can be completed from anyone from your organisation. However, it must be signed off by a senior member of staff.
No – you can come and go as you please. If you don’t log in for three months – your application will automatically time out.
In most cases, as long as you have made a reasonable attempt on your first submission, your assessor will provide you with feedback and you are allowed to resubmit at no extra cost. The assessors reserve the right to fail applications if they deem is appropriate.
Yes - you can register anyone as a contact on your application who can then complete your application on your behalf.
Note: Every application is required to be signed-off by a member of senior staff of the applying company.

Yes – our information hub will provide you answers to any of your most common questions: including the Cyber Essentials questionnaire, scoping statements, discounts and much more.
As soon as your certification has been granted by our system – a member of our Cyber Essentials team will be in touch with your branding guidelines, logos, certificate and promotional activities.
The database is updated monthly. Your certification will typically appear in the first week of the next calendar month.
